A simple way to add Markers from the front-end was suggested. This would need a front-end interface as well as approval and management in the back-end.

I really like the idea of adding the ability to accept geographical data from the front-end.

There are quite a few steps to implementing this, especially making it flexible enough for lots of different use-cases.

I could see this looking something like this:

    • Add option to accept front-end submissions (either public, or only logged-in users).
    • Display full Editor to visitors using Shortcode (Editor features enabled/disabled in Settings).
    • Submissions stored as Maps, with appropriate author (set to “draft” initially).
    • Maps can be edited as normal and organised as necessary (i.e. using Collections).

This would be quite a large undertaking, but I think it would make a really strong addition to the plugin.
